Dallas, Texas Bio Clonie Gowen burst onto the poker scene in 2003 after finishing in the Top 10 at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Costa Rica Classic, which she then followed up with a stunning victory in the WPT Ladies’ Night Championship. She will start with the basics of how to play poker and the different types of games and venues available. She’ll then get into the finer points of poker strategy—such as reading the body language of players and calculating pot odds—and also teach women how to start and host the perfect home game for their friends. Specifically geared toward women, Gowen demonstrates how to turn the seemingly disadvantage of being the only female player at a table into an advantage and a blueprint for victory.
