Venture Literary Sells Four Additional Books in Series to Build on Relationship with Kensington

Greg Dinkin of Venture Literary sold three follow-up books by veteran casino insider Victor H. Royer for his Powerful Profits series to Bruce Bender at Kensington Publishing. The sale of books on keno, general casino games, and "Gambletalk" bring the total in Royer’s series of books to nine.

Dinkin also sold the third book in the Killer Poker series by John Vorhaus to Richard Ember at Kensington. The first book in the series, Killer Poker: Strategy and Tactics for Winning Poker Play, has been incredibly well received and his second book in the series, Killer Poker Online: Crushing the Internet Game, is expected to have similar success when it’s published in July 2003. In his third book, Vorhaus will turn his attention to Texas Hold’em, the game played to determine the winner of the World Series of Poker.

Dinkin, a featured columnist for Card Player magazine and the coauthor of Amarillo Slim in a World Full of Fat People and The Poker MBA, not only works with the authors to hone their manuscripts, but also leverages his contacts in the gambling community to help the authors promote their books.
