Venture Literary Sells Poker Instructional by Chicago Tribune columnist about 52 of the World’s Greatest Players to ESPN Books

On January 5, 2005, Greg Dinkin of Venture Literary sold the World rights to Steve Rosenbloom’s The Best Hand I Ever Played to Michael Solomon at ESPN Books.

What if you could get fifty-two of the best poker players in the world to tell you about the greatest hand of poker they ever played? In The Best Hand I Ever Played: Poker Lessons and Analysis from the World’s Greatest Players, syndicated Chicago Tribune poker columnist Steve Rosenbloom will detail fifty-two of the greatest hands from the world’s top poker players—in their own words. With a list of players that includes Doyle Brunson, Phil Gordon, Annie Duke, Amarillo Slim, and Daniel Negreanu, it’s a veritable "Who’s Who" in poker, offering a "How-To" that will appeal to every kind of player.

Steve Rosenbloom’s poker column for the Chicago Tribune is now being syndicated nationally. For the last eleven years, he has been co-hosting sports talk shows for WSCR-670AM, known as "The Score." Before giving life to the Tribune’s revolutionary front-page column "Hit&Run" in 1996, he had written a column for five years at the Chicago Sun-Times. He worked for the former all-sports newspaper The National, served as executive editor of Sport magazine, and wrote for the Los Angeles Daily News.
